The fashion gurus tell us that all women need black clothing as part of their essential wardrobe. When fashion trends change, suddenly pink is the new black! But what do we need as part of our essential wardrobe as Christian women? It’s armour – God’s spiritual armour.
Ruth Muffett, who is part of the ministry team at Neutral Bay Anglican Church, will start in Ephesians 6 and examine what it is that women really need when it comes to living godly lives.
CWC 2009 will be held on Saturday 2 May from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Doors open at 9 am, with tea and coffee available before the program begins at 9:30 am sharp.
The venue for CWC 2009 is the Derek Pigot Auditorium at Kinross Wolaroi School. Parking is off Icely Road on the Sally Kennett Field, and is well sign-posted. Please follow the signs to the auditorium. For those with limited mobility, a small parking area is available via the main school gates at 59 Bathurst Road. Follow the signs to the auditorium.
I loved good Christ centred teaching, enjoyed singing in a large group with great solid songs. Had a couple of suggestions with the booklet. Would be great to have the info from the brochure plus anything extra also put into the booklet for the day. Also it would be helpful for the name of each CD that the songs come from typed in under the song words.
